WHEN THE BRIE ARRIVED IT WAS VERY WET & STINKY. I HAVE NEVER BOUGHT BRIE BEFORE SO I DON'T KNOW IF IT HAS AN AWFUL SMELL. SO I DON'T KNOW IF IT IS SAFE TO EAT.

I bought this Brie for our Thanksgiving gathering. Upon opening it realized it was nothing more than a wheel of “Presidents” Brie you can pick up from any grocery store. Once I wrapped my head around that I put it out with the rest of my spread, to then learn from a guest that it was smelly and soured. The entire wheel was rotten and ruined. It delivered less than a week before we opened after having been refrigerated immediately upon receipt. Very disappointed and would like a refund. It went straight into the garbage.

I love brie. Ordered once before from another vendor, arrived melted in Fl, although refunded it was a wet mess. Hit a cooler streak here so I tried again. Best ever had in USA. Reminded me of Normandy, husband agreed and he is Norman. Sweet, ripe but not over ripe as in a supermarket, brie was delicious. Just watch the weather if you live in a hot area. He and I went through an entire wheel of brie in two days. Just kept going back for a taste!

Excited to try
Arrived less than a week ago. Opened fridge last night and something reeked-it was the Brie. So disappointed that it spoiled. Asking for a refund on my order.

No worth the price
Had an awful smell from the time it arrived..looked very old ..could not store in my frig due to the smell..stored in garage..tried to salage some of since it is expensive..I have had Brie cheese before but this was just not good..all the other products were great..

When fixing brie should the white stuff be peeled off?
Some people like/love the rind taste of Brie. It's not a personal favorite of mine. However, Camembert is very similar to Brie but the rind is much more pleasant to the pallet I have found.

I've been trying since November to buy Brie and so far none has been available this fall 2019 and early 2020 ? Is it going to be available at all before the end of April or are we going to have to wait until this next fall to try and purchase again?
